Dog-friendly restaurants in Austin

Luckily, Austin is dog-friendly.  There are certain bars and restaurants that cater to dogs more than others.
Here is a list of some of Austin's most dog-friendly eateries and bars for you and your fur babies!

The Yard Bar
6700 Burnet RD.  Austin, TX  78756

The dog-loving Yard Bar is a combination dog park/restaurant/bar where Bark Rangers are on guard to help your dogs. For humans, there are food and drink, for the canines, there are sliders and ice cream. Membershipsare $200 annually, and $5.50 per day.

Austin Terrier
3435 Greystone DR. Austin, TX 78731

It’s in the name: The Austin Terrier was launched as a neighborhood restaurant with a vibe that is both family and pet friendly, featuring a kid's corner as well as water and free treats for your canine friends on the patio.

Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden
81 Rainy ST. Austin, TX 78701

The beer garden’s off-leash puppy park is closed for now because of construction, however the kitchen does serve a special dog-friendly sausage.
Banger's is all about being a wonderful place to eat, drink and hangout. Not too rowdy, not too laid back, just a good old fashioned good time.

Hops & Grain
507 Calles ST Austin, TX 78702

The east side brewery offers brew biscuits, made from used grains, and often hosts yappy hours. Alas, dogs aren’t allowed in the tap room proper but are welcome on the outdoor patio.

1722 South Congress AVE. Austin, TX 78704

The mascot of this South Congress cafe and wine bar is beverage director and restaurant namesake June Rodil’s pup, so it makes sense that the albeit tiny patio is welcoming to canines.

1305 W Oltorf, Austin TX 78704

The brewery and beer garden is dog-friendly with biscuits and watering stations. It even brewed up a beer in honor of the animal nonprofit. One dollar from every APAIPA sold will go towards the Austin Pets Alive’s long stay dogs campaign. The ABGB even donates 5 percent of its profits to its philanthropic outreach branch, the Hell Yes Project, which partners with Austin Pets Alive, among other nonprofits.

Cane Rosso
4517 South Lamar #103 Austin, TX 78745

Cane Rosso owner Jay Jerrier loves dogs so much, he has his own dog rescue group, Cane Rosso Rescue, and often hosts regular adoption and fundraising events at the Austin location. Of course the patio is dog-friendly, too
